This type of simple smock is seen in old photographs of art school students. There is a red cash type name tag inside with M Balch 2.
Natural slubby linen, with round neck, full bodice gathered at front and back to the deep yoke, a small rounded pocket to the right hand side of the smock, long sleeves tightly gathered at the shoulders, open cuffs, the back with opening with two large mother of pearl buttons.
4ft 3 in long shoulder to hem; 1.3 m
Very good. A few small feint markings to the front.
