Fab. Make a nice cushion.
The proud antlered beast observing us with a black glass beaded eye, embroidered in raised work in shades of brown and neutral, emerging from a oak branch, the acorns also in brown raised work, their leaves in shades of green, the background linen unembroidered.
16 1/2 x.16 in; 42 x 40 cm.
The woolwork is all in very good condition. The backing linen has slight markings. If made into a cushion the markings would still show. I suppose if you felt like it you could embroider the background in neutral wool.
