A really lovely sampler showing some exquisite designs and stitches.
The centre with a crown above HC and VE and Anno 1855, surrounded by a crosses of stitches on a natural linen ground, worked in green, brown, grey, saffron silks.
12 x.15 in; 30 x 38 cm
Excellent. Probably worked and then stored.
