Large pretty example with six different drawn thread designs.
The fine cotton ground with opposing corners embroidered with flowers and leaves emerging from a fanciful ornate vase and a heart shaped mound, the four borders embroidered with a large flower meander filled with small flowers, all with six different drawn thread work fillings.
34 1/2 in; 88 cm square.
Fresh and in very good condition. You will see on one of the vase corners there is 1 cm of slight damage. I can see about six pin prick holes and a couple of slightly larger ones. There is also a slight yellowish mark on a fold. I would imagine this could be removed.
