This sumptous piece would look splendid as a runner on a piece of furniture.
Or it could be used as a hanging.
The gold silk ground woven in crimson silk velvet on a gold silk ground, with a design of vases of foliage flanked by pomegranates and pineapples, exotic foliage and curving stems.

You will see from the reverse of the piece that the left hand end we have stablised a tear and weak areas. From the front it looks very good.
