Rare, small and charming. Can you visualise wearing a white Regency empire line dress and with this reticule dangling from your wrist? It might have held a coin but nothing else. Strangely I had another example quite recently which I sold.
Two circles, wired and covered with mid green tape, with beige, green and brown knotted silk circles, the top one gathered into similar green silk ribbons, the base with a tassel.
3 1/2 in; 9 cm diameter.
The reticule is in excellent condition. The ribbons are a little faded, but hardly noticeable.
