Ladies Riding Waistcoat

A rare item for a young woman.
 

Description

Round neck with pointed revers, double breasted with seven sets of cotton covered buttons, hand embroidered buttonholes, the lower front cut off, the pique cotton fabric woven with soft undulating lines, the back of linen with ten pairs of hand embroidered lacing holes.

Shoulder to lower side 15 in; 38 cm

Underarm/bust   30 in; 77 cm

Condition

One button fell off, but I have it. There is a slight damage to the fabric behind the button.

Good condition. Fresh and clean with a few very feint marks to the left hand shoulder area.
