Stunning full repeat. Four textures or effects have been achieved with silver wire. Two thicknesses of silver file´ , a silk core wrapped with silver; a silver frisé, a curly version and a silver purl or coiled wire. Clearly this was very expensive upholstery fabric.
The brillant yellow damask woven ground woven with four types of silver thread, with huge exotic flowers and leaves in a symmetrical design.

Very good. You will see from the bottom edge that the yellow was brighter. It has not faded but slightly changed colour due to exposure. There are a few marks but nothing serious. Below the centre spray of leaves/flowers is a small 3 x 2 cm mark. Also to the top left hand side are a little group of slight marks. Ask for photos.
