Although I don't like the sport, I thought this was a charming felt applique´ and worth buying. Look great framed.

Description

Felted wool with riders astride horses jumping a gate, with beagles in pursuit, all in shades of scarlet, acid green, mid and dark green, brown, pale blue, browns, with a little chain stitch silk used for the reins, backed on a cotton ground.

18 x 15 in; 45 x 38 cm.

Condition

Very good. Clearly this has been framed and you will see at the very top the pale blue sky is brighter, so basically a little fading, but once framed you would not know.
