A very nice example which would make a lovely present for an embroiderer who are usually also interested in gardening.
The upright stem with three different thistles and leaves, two sharp prickles on the stem, all in crewel wools in shades of dark blue, pink, yellow, green and neutral, outlined in brown, now on a natural old linen ground.
