This hanging is really lovely with bright colours and a variety of stitches. The Tree of Life originated in Persia and symbolised life and immortality.
Two trees emerging from two hilly mounds, laden with large curling acanthus type leaves filled with a variety of stitches and designs, two birds perched on branches, all in shades of soft red, pink, maroon, mauve, purple, blues, greens, browns and black crewel wools on a natural linen ground.

Very good condition. No marks at all.
