The velvet is lovely with a unusual slight blue, mauve and purple stripe. The velvet has to be an aniline dye - that colour. It the late 19th century aniline dyes were hugely popular when they were introduced into China.

Very very good. The back has a slight brownish mark in shape of a circle 1 inch or 2.4 cm across. Hardly noticeable. Ask for photo.
