Acanthus printed velveteen furnishing fabric, designed by William Morris, printed by Thomas and Arthur Wardle Ltd. for Morris & Company, England, 1875. Not in great condition but such a beautiful colour. I have now unpicked these two lengths and can sell seperately. I thought designers may be interested or there are some good panels for cushions.

Huge acanthus leaves swirling and coiling to the sides of each panel enclosing exotic blooms and foliage, in soft red on natural ground.
Pattern repeat 21 in; 54 cm.
Length 1 - 8ft 4 in x 47 in; 2.50 x 1.2 m wide -
Length 2 - 6ft 6 in x 47 in; 1.95 x 1.2 m wide -
As you will see from the photos this is not in the best condition! Fading and holes and odd paint spot, but so beautiful!
