Have you ever seen anything like this. Is'nt it wonderful? I have no idea where it is from or who might have worn it. It is too good to be theatrical. It reminds me of the Ballet Russes.
Circular crown embroidered with stylised flowerheads and pointed waves, above a deep section , with small shaped brim, wider at the front, all embroidered in thick wools in yellow, white, black and three shades of blue on a red wool ground, unlined but with a edging of man made fabric.

Diameter 6 in; 15 cm
Excellent.
