Glorious shade and fascinating asymetrical design of three churches. I feel the buildings are European rather than English.
Cataloguing
The mid-green ground with churches with bell towers beside huge flowering trees forming arches, foliage and grass sporting small upright flowers, above three large carnation type flowers hanging down, a silk damask weave with tabby ground and a satin weave,
5ft 7 in x 20 in ; 1.70 x 51 cm selvedge to selvedge.
Repeat 29 in; 74 cm. The width with three churches.
Condition
There are a couple of small dark marks half way down on the right hand side. A 2 cm horizontal split to the left hand side half way down.
