sleeveband, embroidered with archaic vessels filled with various flowers including peonies and chrysanthums, surrounded by peaches and butterflies, the fruits and vases embroidered in Pekin knots, in shades of coral, peach, greens and white, with outlining in gold couching, on a satin weave mid blue ground, 3 x 18 in or 7 x 46 cm, the whole band 7 in x 3ft 7 in or 18 x 1.10


Condition

Where the embroidery is worked and the surrounding blue satin is in very good condition. The long plain section is marked, but this would not show if a mount was made for the embroidery.
