Unusual colour which I would think would appear to be gold by candlelight and the ivory flowers would have glinted silver. If you can't afford an 18th c gown, how about a length?

Two curving leafy stems laden with small bunches of flowers climb up the fabric, in ivory, soft pink, old gold, green and touches of blue, on a taupe coloured ground with two widths of horizontal lines, all in a brocaded tabby weave ground.
