Brown Gentleman's Coat
c 1825

A really nice feature which I have not seen before is the fastening for the wig bag. Inside the collar is a narrow black twill weave silk ribbon with a Dorset style button, the silk following over the collar to the back where the black silk wig bag with rosette hangs. All the buttons are present, most covered in tissue paper to prevent tarnishing.
