Delightful pattern and in very good conditon.


Cataloguing

The black satin ground woven with small white daisy sprays with bright green leaves, the ground with a minute green spot, shawl collar, five self covered buttons with hand worked buttonholes, the back with dark brown twill weave cotton (silesia), the lower back adjustment with back cotton tie, lined with mid brown twill weave cotton.



Nape of neck to hem. 18 in; 46 cm



Underarm 35 in; 89 cm. For a slim young man.



 


Condition

Very good. Slight wear to centre back collar fold. The black ribbon tieing the lower back is probably not original. The back fabric was originally glazed.
